[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here we are looking at the West side of the Island. The place where I took this shot is Lagoa do Fogo (one of my previous pictures) and the Volcano we see way back there is "Sete Cidades" (another of my previous pictures).

The city you see on the left (south) side is "Ponta Delgada", the capital of all Azores Islands, with it's 90.000 inhabitants.

This is one of the few places in the Island where you can actually observe both the north and south sides.

Quel superbe panorama! Voilà une image harmonieuse:une composition efficace tout en courbes et en dégradé de couleurs. Des contrastes entre ombre et lumière. Et ce nuage qui modèle le relief! Bref une oeuvre charmante et une région bien tentante pour le voyageur. Bravo! Annie
