I have always found the complex shapes of dead, leafless, trees fascinating. Framing them in the deep blue of the sky works for me. I like the way you have only included a small amount of the background vegitation in the photo, giving the expanse of the sky a greater emphasis. I might have been inclined to fill the frame a little bit more with the tree. However, the tree is nicely composed within the image, using the two horizontal branches well.
