[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Old Cathedral in the city of Coimbra, Largo da Se Velha. Built in roman style in 1162, the principal features are: the gothic cloisters, the oldest in Portugal and some interesting sculpture and tombstones dating from XII to XIV centuries. The Sacrament Chapel dates from th XVI century and is the work of Joao de Ruao. St. Peter’s Chapel is the work of Nicolau Chanterenne, XVI century, where Jorge Almeida, Bishop of Coimbra, is buried. The entrance dates from the XVI century and is the work of Joao de Ruao.

dear Mikolaj Cava,
in Portugal or your country, what name people call this mark(4 dots on cross) on the arch wall?
in Japan it is "Komejirushi", because it is like the letter of "Kome(=rice)".

anyway, very artistic old stone arches of Old Cathedral,
the shape is refined, and the colors of the stones are tasteful.
over the long history, this arches have been shining in gold color.
