[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in Coimbra, "The city of students" last May 4th (coincidentally, one year tomorrow!) during the students festivities called "queima das fitas", a traditional academic festivity which originated in the early 19th century (according to what I just read on a google search) which takes place every year during the first week of May. Although I have very little knowledge about this event, it has to do with the upgrading of the students' levels in the universities.

The river we see here is Rio Mondego, one of the biggest rivers in Portugal (5th).
