Great shot and note Marco! I love the soft colors of the mountains, as a background to the couple. Your note is a perfect fit to the picture. These are the moments of life we should enjoy fully, drink them in...

Hmmm, with that text I would have liked for them to be at least touching each other. They actually look like a couple of hikers resting each in their own world. But never mind, it's the photo that counts, and it seem to be another Estrela masterpiece. I love the light up there. One day I'll print out all your mountain shots and hang them up together as an exhibition showing the beauty of that part of your country. (It would probably draw the crowds as we have a lot of Portuguese here in Luxembourg, who always miss home)

Perfect example of bringing out depth. The foreground is really dark against a light background...this empasizes the depth of the photo. The placement works..although I might like to see the individual staring "into" the photo rather than out of it

I enjoy this view of the Estrela mountains, Marco. Such soft colours, Just like heaven indeed.
As for the note, I have to agree with Per. Also you should have chosen the song title as photo title too to keep it coherent.
As for the picture, I think there's a halo around the people and that distracts me. Did you oversharpen, or have you used NI on the background more than once ?

Anyway, even alone for the way you captured the mountains you deserve more than 2 points...

The beauty of the backdrop and the drama of the silhouettes together is all I need to fall into the romantic mood of this photo. Perhaps it is best they are not touching as the mood is one of "lost and lonely...you're just like a dream...." Each of us will have our own interpretation of this work and that is what makes it such an excellent one. The viewer becomes a part of it. Well done, Marco...:O)

AMAZING SONG! I can never get a good recording of this song, but anyways. I'm not commenting on the song, I'm commenting on the photo. It seems to represent a feeling of solace (in my opinion) and I just really like it, we never see shots like this anymore... it just has such a beautiful feeling to it. Finding solace in a friend... that's what I like about your shot... not exactly the picture itself (which I do like) but the feeling it trasmits. Great stuff Marco.
