Mmm friendship, one of the greatest things there is. Especially when you have those very special friends that you cab share everything with, those that you know will always be ther,e no matter wath. But you are right, there is no real way of defining friendship, it is just there and itis a blessing...Love this phot Marco, the siluette, the sun, composition, how his head is tured...and how we don't really know what direction he is looking at. It has a very friendly atmosphere, it is warm, it is, oh, i simply like it...

Beautiful, Marco. An excellent note, but a stunning shot. Your friend and the rock make a nice silhouette, and the colours of this sky are amazing. You picked exactly the right time to capture this one.

Wow. Just love the whole picture. The silhouette, the sun, the landscape, the lighting. Everything here is appealing to me. Did you try a picture with him looking at the rock instead of the camera?

Superbe photo 'à contre-jour' Marco. A wonderful missive for friendship here, critical in rock climbing as in every day life. Pic and text complete themselve nicely. As for the image, it is gorgeous, not less. (i like the stripped horizon and rays - great ). Merci.

Great shot, and even more: "heart heating" thoughts.

Here I can read from the siluettes of his ears, that you had a good time, and great friends you are... Lovely lights, great compo. But again, your note is really nice, and funny.

And just to make a stupid joke in the end of my c. "You can choose your friends, but your family is given. ;o)
Yes, friendship sometimes means more than love... at least lasts longer ;o)

Here is a superb manner of animating a sunset, of giving it life and human heat. Beautiful silhouette which cuts out well on the sky. He seems to be very high. Excellent composition.

Wonderful shot, the contrast between the dark and light area's are well chosen. The mood of the picture sure matches your note!
Let me too bring in my thoughts on this one...
I do have a few friends, some already for nearly 30 years now... I think its one of the most important items in life. Let us be thankful to those who want to share happy and sad memories and moments...

I love the high contrast of the shot, with the dark silhouettes of mountain and man, and the warm tones of the light, filtered by the clouds.
The crop you chose enhace the composition.

A truly amazing silhouette. Colours are perfectly balanced and the person on the cliff is positioned in a perfect way. I like how the rays of sun show from the clouds and portray a very relaxing feeling. TFS, an awesome image !
