[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot is almost 2 years old, but it is almost that time of the year again.

Some tips for shooting fireworks:

Use a tripod.
Set ISO to low value.
Put camera in manual focus and focus at infinity
Flash off.
Set exposure to manual.
Experiment with aperture for a couple of shots to get exposure right, here I used f/13 which worked for me.
Set exposure to a couple of seconds, depending on how many fireworks you want on the shot. Here I shot in bulb mode, which enables you to decide when to stop exposing during the exposure.
Shoot a lot, you never know what will come next.

Pedro, thank you for posting this. Fireworks are so hard to capture, and your tips are a great reminder. I like the way you have contrasted the lights with the cascading works, and reflection on the water. Great shot. TFS

I like that fireworks display, Pedro, with good metering exposure of 22s.

Simple elegant lines of the fireworks. TFS

He, een bruikbare note!!! Fijn man!!

Hi Pdero

Nice firework shots and its not something that easy to shot it without proper techniques...congrats

Prachtig !

Groetjes
Jan

Great work! Yan
