aahh Hugo, I can't help to think that you actually missed the real photo here.

From the shadows you can see that there are more soldiers to the right of this image. I'd rather have taken the shot in landscape, getting lower to the ground, get on your knees soldier, and accentuated the very regular shadows more.
Also disturbing for me in this shot is that you shopped off the heads, it really doesn't add to the image.
Nice try, now do it again soldier ! :)
