This is a shot from on of the streets of Mertola, know in ancient times as Myrtilis Iulia or Mirtylis Iulia, and after the romans came the visigods and finally the muslims that called it Mārtulah.
It was a river shipdock, dominating the river Guadiana - that you can see on the left; King Sancho II of Portugal, and a Knight of the Santiago Order, Paio Peres Correia, in 1238, conquered it.
The original photo had a very overexposed sky that I tryed to manipulate by pasting a set of clouds and blue sky that I previously had photographed, but the rest is preety much the same including a light spot right in the center that I just couldnt figure out a way to erase.

Ola,
Durante muito tempo passei muitas vezes por essa magnifica terra, Mertola.
Gosto do teu registo, apesar de achar que "queimaste" um pouco as corres (deve ser para representar os dias torridos que se costumam viver em Mertola).
Mesmo assim fis umas pequenas alterações no WS, espero que nao te importes (e que gostes claro).
Continuação de muitos e bons registos.
