[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sintra National Palace. This medieval palace has probably been built over the residence of the muslim "wallis". It has been royal residence of several kings in portuguese history for eight centuries. Sintra itself was conquered from the moors early in our history, in the 12th century, and it was the moors who gave the Sintra mountain the popular name of "Monte da Lua", or "Mount of the Moon".

It's one of the most popular tourist destinations in Portugal. Sintra is a UNESCO heritage site.

Hi Mario, your point of view, certainly allowed you to capture
this palace in all its architectural delight, the inclusion of the people really gives us the scale of this building,I am curious as to what the two cones are, they look so different from the rest of the palaces architecture.TFS
