[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Portuguese]
Photograph taken in the Coudelaria of Alter.
The intention was see the Portuguese horses. But these donkeys were completely deranged and did not I resist to click.
The Alter coudelaria is the older Portuguese coudelaria and, in the world, the one that functions longer in the same place: in Coutada of the Arneiro in Alter do Chão. It was founded in 1748 by D. João V, with the objective of produce horses of good quality of the Portuguese race Lusitano. Just by curiosity an Alter-Real horse, the "Gentil", was choosen by the Marquês of Marialva for serve for model to Machado de Castro, for the equestrian statue of D. João I in the Terreiro do Paço, in Lisbon.
At this moment the coudelaria is with big works, but I am going to come back, this time for take pictures to the horses.

Em miuda quando vivia em Portugal montava quase todos os dias, a Graciosa a minha egua preferida era muito parecida com este cavalo castanho. GOsto da expressao e posicao do cavalo em relacao com os burros que parecem ter perdido a cabeca.
