I like this image because it resembles a painting. Nice work and happy travels. Wish I could do more of that myself these days.

This is really good, Phil.

All those lovely ochres, and just the right degree of crumbling of the wall, make this a great subject for a painting. The steps leading into the shadowed doorway give a great sense of depth.

The rubble in the FG gives an interesting "texture", and the tree is in just the right place to complete an excellent composition.

The only thing I would suggest is a very slight crop to exclude that white strip of wall on the right side.

I have tried a WS for you.

Nice picture:-) All of us tried to take a picture of some doors. Me too:-) Truly... doors with very old ivy - that was my first photo.I used pretty old analog camera, but I should have to find this one, scan it and post here:-)
