Whilst as a dog owner I can understand the thought that went behind taking this shot (I've got similar snaps in the family albums, showing my dogs doing equally strange things) I think it misses the mark a little unfortunately.
* Firstly the details in the shot are soft - there's no sharp point of focus on the dog who does look out of focus
* Next, the composition isn't the best, with the body of the dog being a little lost amongst all the water
* Lastly the colours lack enough contrast to be interesting - is this a black dog?
Perhaps a more interesting and dynamic shot would have been seeing him shaking off the water when he came out of the river?
Thanks...Mark
In all honesty, do you genuinely think that this is a snap worth sharing on a global website dedicated to learning about photography?
