"Secondary Roads"
Still in Santarém, this statue was in the main entrance of the justice building. There were four of them similar to this one, bigger than life, very crude, and yet, very beautiful. The ensemble represents the pursuit of truth and the defense o the weak through justice. All women, they reminded me of amazon warriors. It's located near the market where the previous post was shot. From there we headed to the Portas do Sol (Doors of the Sun). Beautiful name for a beautiful place...
