[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on the D. João III cloister, the most magnificent cloister in the Convent of Christ, and we can see a little bit of its famous fountain.
The Convent of Christ (UNESCO World Heritage since 1983) is the leading emblem of the Tomar city. It was the headquarters of the portuguese branch of the Templar Order. When this was suppresed, the king D. Dinis replace it by the Order of Christ.
In the Convent you can find the architectural styles from the XIIth to the XVIIIth centuries. All its unique decorative exuberance belong to the Manuelino style.

This rp photo was taken a year after with a diferent camera with diferent settings wich originate a more natural picture with very few pp (a little of levels for dark a little the "frame" and a bit of unsharp mask in the center)

Great composition with laborious detail to dimensions stability and geometry not to mention the colours. Of course with the optimistic approach to hope, that there's always light and expectation for something better at the end of the tunnel, unlike the "cave" where there's no way out. After all he lived in a city of aristocracy where intellect and philosophy were only of the upper ruling class.
