Castelo de Almourol


O Castelo de Almourol é um dos exemplos incontornáveis da passagem da Ordem dos Templários por terras lusas. Quem o visita não pode deixar de admirar alguns traços da arquitectura militar templária que ainda conserva, nem de mergulhar num imaginário de lutas e batalhas em que esses cavaleiros da Ordem do Templo participaram. Desde Jerusalém estes estenderam-se ao Ocidente e tornaram-se o braço-direito de D. Afonso Henriques no movimento da Reconquista. Este é um pequeno documentário sobre a marca dos Templários no Castelo de Almourol.

Extraordinária visão, excelente pov.
Interessante a tonalidade sépia nesta imagem, realçando a beleza da paisagem e do monumento.
Muito bem conseguido. A nota explicativa reforça a importância do legado histórico e patrimonial existente no "nosso" Portugal. Excelente divulgação.

You have a number of beautiful images in your gallery with a bit of color saturation added. I like the tone of this somewhat (desaturated?) image. The shot is very clear and the mood is tranquil. It took me a while to figure out what I don't like about the frame: the color is fine, even the fact that it's shadowed works, but I think it's the fact that the sides are wider and the top/bottom are thinner and that clashes with the height of the building...makes it look too close to the top....I think one thick white frame would be better.
You live in such a beautiful country!
