Dedicated to Nuno Cabruja.

The chair belongs to him. on the 7th Of November, 2006 he will be undergoing a major surgery.
This is my way of wishing him the best of luck and hopefully he will no longer be needing that awful chair.
Will post again on same subject after his release from hospital.

PP talk:

Channel mixer b/w conversion.

Very emotional, I like how the picture tells a story without even reading the note. Great choice of black and white and nice timing. Very uplifting

love your presentation, it tells a lot without any note. good PP work.
Wish him all the best.

Beautiful, intimate and touching! I love the simple composition the shot from the back of the man moving forward (to his hopes, perhaps?). And the black and white makes it timeless and very much in tribute to this man. I wish him the best of luck.

Excellent capture - I hope his operation goes well. Nice composition and well recorded in B&W. It is a good commentry on health

I remember the photo from the swimming very well, and with this photo you really get your hopes across to me. The only thing is - well - the empty space on the left gives me an eery feeling, maybe it would be even more hopeful with less emptyness.
The choice of b&w is excellent. Best wishes to your friend.

Greetings Simon
I enjoy wandering through someones total postings and comment on the one I like. Thats how I found this capture. I could tell you how much I like the picture and why, but I would rather know how the surgery went, is that chair in retirement?

Dan

Good work and a fitting tribute to your friend. I am pleased to hear the operation made some improvement and perhaps in time the wheel chair will be no longer needed.
