Beautiful sunset, Marco. Becoming one of your trademarks. These cloud layers, both the dark ones and the one distorting the sun, are magnificent. Very good job, TFS, TFS².

In my minds eye, after reading "The Hobbit" Trilogy three times in my life, this looks like what I would depict the place where Frodo is destined to throw the "One Ring". it is indeed a magical place and it was captured well by you and your camera. ...:O)

Very nice - I like the V... You know this web site were ... (i go look for it and i come back)... wait :: It is called "Le soleildu jour" - A sunset a day. According to some National Geog. photographers it is one of the best place on earth for sunset. Estrela is one too. Address is : Le Soleil du Jour at Kamouraska.

Another Marco! Great. I was waiting for that. You are not the most prolific of artists, but you are my favorite. And once again you celebrate nature and the sun and the Estrela mountains.

I don't know why, but this photo makes me want to quote Cohen to you:

So I knelt there at the delta,
at the alpha and the omega,
at the cradle of the river and the seas.
And like a blessing come from heaven
for something like a second
I was healed and my heart
was at ease

I know he was really talking about something else, but they are two sides of the same coin, and I think he would approve that this shot should bring back those lines.

Simply superb!!! need i say more! brilliant composition. the bluish-grey sea of clouds gradually turning orange is spectacular. I would definitely like to submit one of mine but its got to be as good as yours lol! i will try marco.

This is really mystical, I like as the sun makes the light to poor into the abyss surrounded by the two mountains. Wonderful colours also. I am glad to see the new series of skies, congrats, Marco!
