A maquina evolui

This pic is taken in the Sao Sebastiao quarter, near the Jardim Amalia Rodrigues in Lisboa. A billboard against the backdrop of a building site.

I added the original photo as a WS after Rob's crit.

PCS tech: perspective distortion corrected, cropped, copied the ‘eyes’ to a new layer, increased the saturation (decreased the yellow hues) of this layer, desaturated the main layer, adjusted contrast and levels USM-ed added a frame saved for the web.

Awesome! Excellent composition and PP work! Great idea. I really like this one. The abstract patterns on the building are great. Good job. JP

hi Bert :) very interesting graphic composition here! so have you've been off to Portugal then or is this an older photo? i really like the strong contrast of vertical and horizontal lines and that billboard is certainly a striking feature to inspire a shot! mmmm.. don't speak portugese so i'm very curious as to what it avertises... the mind boggles! ihih ^_^

take care Bert and great shot!

Ayda

The building has interesting design to it. the billboard looks like a robot from a Science fiction film.

groet Rob

It seems to me the aliens are advertising on TL ... very nice capture Bert ! like the symmetry here with the B/W !!

A very nice composition Bert, I like it a lot. The b&w is a very good choice.
Best regards
Guy
