june may be a special time, but Lisbon needs no particular season to be special- it's the light, the mixture of ancient and old, of well kept and crumbling, of a city which seems more attentive to feeling and mood than tio other people's perception, even in some of the more modern parts like the area where the calouste gulbenkian Museum is ... and you have the gift of catching this in your pictures, which are always dear to me because Lisbon is so dear to my heart .. ciao

Ole, Teresat,I like your angle for this shot the modern rooftops & homes surrounding that magnificent ruins,I would imagine that this area of Lisbon must have many small lanes for the tourist to loose himself amongst, to find the many historical buildings & the sites & sounds of Lisbon life

These old buildings gives the city a rustic character and a nice ambience. Their structure must be quite solid considering they have passed the ravages of time. The repeating patterns of the roofs and windows looks visually pleasing too. Well captured and presented. Well done! tfs
