I call him Gato

This is 'Gato'.
I call him that because I don't know his name and he doesn't seem to mind.
He was abandoned in my street about two months ago and I started to leave him food in the mornings. After a while, two or three old ladies also started leaving him food every day, and although he is skinny, he must be the best fed cat in the neighborhood, with at least 3 square meals per day.
The other day, he followed me home, so I let him in for dinner and then sent him on his way again. Two days later, he was sleeping on top of my car in the morning sun.
yesterday, I got home at about 10 pm and he was standing at my door waiting for me so I let him in and gave him some more food. He left (ok, he asked to leave by meowing near the front door) about an hour later. And tonight, he came back again and is actually sleeping in my bedroom at the moment.
I have never seen a cat purr so much. He purrs in his sleep, he purrs when he's walking around, he even purrs while he's eating.
So I'm going to let him stay tonight, he looks so peaceful and I'm guessing this is the best night's sleep he's had in a very long time without having to worry about strangers, cars, dogs, other cats and whatever a cat worries about when he's out roaming the streets at night.

Hi Simon!
Amazing cat, amazing dengerous scene. Wonderful take.
TFS!
me parece que te estas enamorando del gato... aunque en vez de llamarle gato le llamaria TIGRE, por los tremendos colmillos que tiene ;-)
Linda historia del minino... espero maņana nos cuentes como vas con tu nueva mascota :-)
