[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In my opinion, the means of transportation that better expresses the idea of departure is the convoy.

I think it is because the special acid odour of old times smoke of the railway stations;
The mechanical and weighed noise of the locomotives mixed with the radio voices announcing different destinations;
The slow departure with those that leave in the windows waving to those that stays;
The iron rails lost in the infinite.

«Old way train.2» is a photo of a railway line in Portugal known as the «west line», very important in the sixties and seventies, in the merchandises transportation from the sea's ports in Lisbon to all the country.

In our days, with the new transport solutions and the globalization, those railways are almost without use.

This is my homage to a journey made of old sounds, ancient smells, and fresh memories.

Never lose the «train of dreams».

Jose my friend, this is quite an intriquing scene.
As usual it has great mood and style!
The low resolution of the background transition really adds to the flavor of the image. It's interesting for sure.

An excellent presentation in the spirit of railway and a very good note. Trains in Greece too are almost on the side for most of it and for the same reasons.

Dreams are something that nobody, ever, could take away from us!
The image looks really interesting with the inverted color of the sky, and it does have the atmosphere of a "dream"...or memory. Reading your words in the note, I search my mind and find all my memories linked to departures, train staitions, faces, sounds, olfactive memories...it's all there! And it's nice to remeber...:)
