This is an unusual shot, Luisa, but I think you get away with it! Normally a figure in that position would be more suited to the left side of the frame - looking in rather than out.
So the composition is a little unorthodox, but as I say I think it works. He seems unaware of those around him, in his own world...as you say, a "stranger".
I like this one, it makes you think.
