hI tERESAT!

for me faith is everything!

If u dont believe u dont live!

is about everything..love ..religion ..friendship whatever!
i believe cos i have felt and expierenced all those things..
But they are really easy to lose..we must take care of our faith everyday!!
im not so focused and sure about any religion anymore..We must put our own effort to be happy not ask and hope that any God will do this for us!!

many thanks for the citation of Goethe.. and many thanks for this unusual capture.. in a few little details you have resumed in an effective way the idea of faith!! excellent my dear!! ;))
your note leaves space to a debate.. i would like to tell you in few words about the "conscious faith"!! a concept i have learned studing the buddish religion:
not a faith in something for which there is no evidence.. but a faith in the presence of the perfect sight of the truth.. evident only for one (the watcher who have it).. not evident for all.. and over the common evidences.. cause it is out of the evidence of forms we know.. called illumination!! ;))
ehmmm... description of differences sometime are little.. but not so little the final result!! ;))

Dear Teresat,
An excellent picture with a stunning note
I like it very much.
For me faith is a sentiment and a presence which we can feel but cannot see or touch.
Faith is a double-edged sword. If it exists, extreme people might use it for bad things or according to their beliefs. If it does not exist, then you are lost and you have nothing to refer to.
Without faith, there is no life or there will only be cash for things
Also, our experience and experiments help us shape our faith and see the positive side of everything

First, this is a very beautiful B&W. The pose of this man gives a meaningful mood.

About your question! I think, that the respond is not easy for anyone! Despite my bad english, I will try to express my thought. "The faith is nothing without works" (Jacques 2:26).
So, if we believe in something, we must get ourselves in action for what we believe arrives! The magic thought does not give any result!
If the impossible is there, the Faith is a manner to let go of! And this is a way like an other to feel better!

I don't think that a specific definition for Faith exists, is more subjective.
Is difficult to define Faith as to define Love, Life ........
To believe is with no doubt ?
Personal I believe and I ask for evidence.
The other way is very religius.
For example I believe in you as good photographer and I have evidence for that !!

hi t. 2 days later finally I am back- interesting shot and without your note the reference to faith would not be at all unequivocal- after all people seem to be heading away from the inside of what may well be a church and only the bowed heads suggests that they may be still meditating their own relationship with a superior reality and the Holy Entity in which they believe (whatever they may call It)
they are heading outside, not a usual location for the altar or its equivalent - are they in awe or do they feel inadequate to the message from above or to the mission that they are expected to fulfill? this is Sooooooooo intense !

Hi Teresat,

A simple thought about faith derives what makes life, living, and love. Without faith, those elements are less alive. Nonetheless, there is no concrete explanation of what Faith is. It differ to person's beliefs.

Me... I believe that faith to my belief is the one I bow onto. Faith to my love is the one I hold onto. Faith to my fate, is the one I wish I could ease and relief. faith makes me live my life, and feel alive.

Thoughtful FAITH. Being a subjective thing, it is greatly depicted in your image. Very thoughtful presentation my friend.

For me, faith is believing whether it's a God, love, live whatever. Faith doesn't have anything to do with the way you dress or the gesture you make. Faith is something interior.
By the way, your photo is very interesting. It suggests only and the vewer just have to imagin.
