[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Until now, I always used to wonder which were the dragonflies and which were the damselflies. My sister has told me several times that the difference can be told by the way their place their wings when they pause.

I finally took the time to search for the information on google in order to finally clarify the differences.

This brown winged damselfly has been parading around my house for the past couple of weeks. I see it every day but I don’t think it’s rather fond of photography as it always takes off the moment it spots me!

I was surprised that it actually “posed for me” a few days ago but on a rather too sunny day making it difficult not only for me to be able too see it on my camera before shooting as well as to find the appropriate angle for doing so. I was limited to the damselfly’s desires. It stood there observing me and remained for quite a while. But the moment I tried to correct my position due to the harsh sun, it took off!!

More information and anatomy

PHOTOFILTRE was used-I revived the pink on the "extension" to bring out its real vivid colors.

Thank you for looking!

This damselfly is absolutely wonderful captured by you and in your picture the light is just perfect Lurdes.
I did not even know there was such a thing as a damselfly, another thing learned then.
