[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Praia Grande (Big Beach) is a Beach near Sintra wich is the biggest of the county. In Praia Grande there are lots of surfing contest since it has great waves. The sands are dark but the view is wonderful. I took this one in winter time, when I saw some friends walking on the beach and decided to take the shot.

With picasa I cropped it to make a panoramic view, converted to B&W and haded some shadow. Then resized it to fit TL.

Bonjour Sara,
Un petit peu sombre ce noir et blanc. J'aime beaucoup le côté nostalgique qui ressort avec cet aspect linéaire des vagues.
J'aurai peut être ajouter un large encadrement blanc pour apporter de la profondeur.

Hi Sara,
I appreciate the large panoramic view here a lot for getting me a real impression of vastness , emptiness and of solitude too as the two walkers seem to experience here alone , their placement to the far right a sure indication of that overall impression i get viewing this beach scene. B&W is also a good choice for conveying the ambiance ,
a good composition Sara but i tend to agree with Karele about the scene being a tad shady or dark and since i am fond of frames i would also add one to highlight your panorama some more,
