The strong shadows are a good indicator of the weatherconditions :-). It looks as if the people that constructed these stairs absolutely wanted to avoid symmetry, but it's near enough.
I love the simple but beautifully made railing of these stairs against the rather plain wall.

PP: Cropped, USM, frame, signature.

(I added a slightly more processed version in WS)

I absolutely love this composition and color tones! Nicely seen Walter.
Observation: I would of cropped out the pipe on the far right....although that's just my perfection self kicking. Who know's you might of left the pipe in due to it not being totally horizontal.
Anyway, cool stairs and nicely painted.

Michael

Very well seen, Walter. There might have been room to adjust the perspective, but it is not that distracting. The colours are beautifully rendered. In a sense, I'm surprised you did not poster edge this one; with the colours so uniform, I'm sure the effect would be great. Great shot and TFS!

grande grafismo..excelente trabalho..parabens

The stairs are beautiful. I like the contrasting colour of the wall, but the shadows are the greatest.

Well seen, Walter. A true Straatloper, even in Lisboa ;o).
What I really like is the shadow of the railing, and the soft tones. I think Michael's got a point there, why leave the rainpipe in? And why so thick a transparent frame? I think Frank's framing would look swell on this one (just add a Gaussian blur in the frame, before adding your nicely assorted, curly signature).
Anyway, TFS.

Hello Walter... Especially, I like the graphical composition...Pastel colours work well here...Thank you for sharing...

Hi Walterito! It is a beautiful graphic photo. Colors are beautiful, as well as the shadows.
