Hi Jose - I love the long shadows, the tonal range across the sky and the cobbled ground - the red doors stand out really well also. Initially looks like a simply pic, but in reality there is a lot to attract the eye and keep our interested - very nice image.

first thing, first word that came to my mind when seeing this image was...amazing. I am reading all the critiques you got so far and I agree with them. This is really outstanding work in 'Jose style' and that style is unique and perfect every step of the way.

I am looking at the place...and at the sky...and I find this place perfect to escape from the daily life and to rest your mind. We need such places to find ourselves again.

The low sunrays causing the long shadows gives it a very moody view.
The bright coloured seawater with the sundown colours in the sky, the inclusion of the few people, it all combines together.

This is simply a good classic example of light+shadow that works so well for a vision, with the light of the diagonal direction to produce shadows not only for men but building and with a sky that is so intrigue. I like your composition from low angle to get the height of the building, even though it is just a single storey.

I need to get a wide angle zoom lens, my 18-200mm seems so limited compared to a 10mm lens. Nice warm light creating very long shadows. Enormous DOF. Nice composition and very dramatic blue sky. Nice work and TFS.
