it is really true - no two photos of a same subject taken by two people can ever be the same... I don't have my HDD with me, otherwise I would have posted my lighthouse as WS... completely different from yours =)
I like the work you have done on the light and on the sky, which brings out the best in the lighthouse and in the reflection of the light in the sea.
your ultra-wide angle approach strikes again!

I was reading T's critique and now I am smiling like crazy...and I have forgotten what I wanted to write. :)

OK...I still can't remember what I wanted to write. :) It is splendid image, I know I wanted to say that...I love the dramatic sky and the atmosphere in the image. It is a little bit scary, but at the same time...soothing. In all that darkness...there is hope...red, bright hope that is standing tall, looking at Atlantic and showing the right way...that usually is hard to find. Really great image dear Jose...I will be honest...I envy you (in a good way) your photo skills. :)You are great...

The landscape is certainly fantastic,José, but you know the art to emphasize it in giving this special mood which is yours when you work with lights, colours , contrast and certainly something escaping to the common run of people.

Bom dia José!
This is simply wonderful! The enlightment directed on the lighthouse works great at this composition, while the surroundings remained a bit darker to express a kind of dramatic mood at the pier. Correctly exposed sky and clouds, a nice beach indeed. Probably this summer I will visit Lisbon and some other parts of Portugal. :)

extremely incredible and breathtaking presentation, the colors, the mood portrayed by the heavy thick clouds, the green water and the Red Lighthouse is mainly drawing my attention, every detail is so intense and powerful... I love the darkness colored with perfect lighting and different elements..

A very good composition and point of view. I like the light that you captured. The lighthouse though is way too sharp and too detailed that it does not look natural.
