It' is a eyesight of the " Cabo de São Vicente" in algarve in Portugal, taken since the " Fortaleza" of Sagres.
This cape is the point more in south-west of l' Europe. A headlight and a monastery were built there. Several naval battles took place with broad of the course, in particular that of 1797 between l' Spain and Great Britain.
