[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When we visited Lisboa last June we enjoyed the Alfama-neighbourhood very much. In many of the narrow streets people were preparing for some festival with colourful decorations and barbequed fish all over. After a climb to one of the terraces, we were greated by splendid panoramas over the white houses and red-tiled roofs. While attempting to cath the view I noticed our shadows standing out sharply and decided to include them.
This effect and the colours in the view were strongly enhanced in the PP. Pity about the many antennae which distract and disturb the view a bit, but ... they're a reality in Lisboa.

I like the effect you've achieved here with the simplified colours, and the shadows make the composition more interesting, nice product!

j'aime l'originalité de cette photo.
Je crois qu'elle donne une image très expressive d'Alfama.
J'aime bien le contraste entre les trois coleurs.
Congratulations!

It's a nice effect, this one. It looks completly different from the real colors of Lisbon. It's more like the Alentejo region. The idea is great! I liked it very much.
