[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the few days we were in Lisboa, we wandered a lot, with no definite goal, just following the instinct, while indulging the sights.
I was attracted to the glow showing through this fine wooden door. The outside wall and the door had little colour-differentiation and were contrasted by the colours showing of a window far down the hallway.

In PP I corrected perspective distortion, adjusted contrast and saturation.
Did I have to add a border or not ? I tried several possibilities and came up with the shown solution.(selected a rectangular frame containing most of the door. Reversed selection, copied this part to a new layer. Applied cross hatch filter to give a rougher, sketch-like look, which was desaturated to some extend)

Interesting view through an ajar door, Walter.
I like this contrast between the sunny walls/door and the darkness inside.
You already have a natural frame here, so IMO, the extra one is not necessary, but it is offcourse a personal choice.
Alla.
