Really beautiful and expressive self-portrait. I love the way you used desaturation along with the greenish-gold tint to really bring out the textures in your skin. Excellent clarity and detail, and what I really like is the sidelighting used to create these dramatic shadows that cover half your face, giving the shot a somewhat mysterious or moody look. Excellent mood conveyed too with the downcast eyes. The black background makes the surroundings unidentifiable and insignificant, and you seem to blend in only partially to the background. I would only recommend maybe cropping a tiny bit off the top as the shot is a little heavy at the bottom with lighter tones (from your face and fingers). I am fascinated with photographers' self-portraits, it actually reminds me of my self-portrait here. It has similar lighting. Excellent dark frame with the pixel or two of white to make it pop out but to continue the dark feel. Beautiful! TFS!

Oh this is magnificent. :) The tone, the composition, the feeling. Seems deep thought here and feelings. The Lighting done to perfection. So artful. Inspires me to do something I have never done, take myself seriously enough to do such an autoportrait! :)
