Hi Oana,
Nice gift for a dearly departed friend. A shame he couldn't see it while he was still with us, but I'm sure he is looking down from above with great appreciation. Lovely soft exposure with this shot, the black BG was a good choice.

Hi oana

Good sharpness & dof on the colourful pink rose, with excellent dof, & framing. Be careful with the pp work. There is some slight blur around the upper petals. Use a zero feather, & a very small feather blur of 3-4 pixels. I sometimes do the pp work in 3 sections: First, a 1 inch border, with blur of 40 pixels, then 1/2 inch to 1 inch, using 10 pixels, and 0 to 1/2 inch, at 3-5 pixels. It makes a smoother transition, & leaves sharp outlines.
