| ... male Common Toad (Bufo bufo) and male Marsh Frog (Pelophylax ridibundus)... this love is not similar with the same relationship in humans... is about a mistake... in Common Toad the nuptial activity is earlier, and the males blindness (hard hormones) make them to stretch anything similar with females (logs, dead animals, other frogs, newts, etc.), thus a huge male Marsh Frog, which is incapable to any reaction due to the cold weather... which is perfect to the more mountain Common Toad... so, nothing gay... |
