Chindia Tower is representative for Targoviste, which was the capital city of the Wallachian voivodship. It is 27 meters tall and has a diameter of 9 meters . Chindia Tower could be translated as the Sunset Tower. Other historians say that the name comes from an old game, Chindia, which was played on official occasions at the Princely Court. Another symbol connected to this tower is Vlad Tepes, who ruled once here, in 1465. It is here, legend says, that Vlad punished a great number of his enemies and opponents by impaling them onto stakes, after inviting them to a trap feast on Easter Sunday.
Now the tower is a way to see a beautiful sight of the city from above, feeling a little closer to... the past |

Cred ca o varianta monocroma ar fi mai faina.
Unghiu' si compozitia sunt faine.
