Love the texture of the old board and the light in the glass candle holder. Excellent light experiment. Did a workshop for the fun of it with a different frame and a slight crop, hope you like it.

Awesome light and textures! This is a nicer soft image with beautiful colors .A shame thogh that the apple on the right side is cut.Otherwise it is a very good picture.TFS.

its not as simple as it looks. the compo is well thought of. and sometimes simple yet dramatic light sources like a candle can be very useful. i havent even tried candle myself. Well done. This one seems to bring Christmas a little earlier here on TL. =) TFS

Hi Andreea. I like the idea and the warm light from the candle gives an almost christmassy feeling. However, a few things spring to mind. I think you need a larger area to allow more room for an attractive composition and maybe 3 apples rather than 2. The background material needs to be large enough to cover the table top and extend up behind the props, maybe even looped down the back of the table and then up again further back. The props then positioned on it to give a seamless base and background and if possible the props should be far enough away from the background portion to allow reduced DOF to render it soft.
