methan gas burnes mixed with air and developes light blue flames. but when the gasous mixture or the fire itself becomes contaminated with foreign substances other colours will also be displayed by the flame.
in this case an old das heater is burning under an equally old can and water from the can's walls contaminates the fire: red, yellow and orange glow developes...
