I prefer this one above the one on Trekearth, I don't know why...
Maybe the sun is a little to bright here, but for the rest this is very moody. It's like a sea of... of fog.

Your title says it all... This IS a mystical photo, making us feel how overwhelmingly beautiful Earth (and Life) can be.
Excellent light metering, contrasts and composition. Do you use special equipment to protect your lens and to avoid "sun spots" on the photo itself?

Very nice shot. You got some good effects with the mist and the sun. I think I would be tempted to crop off some of the bottom just to leave the fence posts as the foreground. Good shot!
