[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This young man was pacing along his balcony , back and forth ,conversing on the phone , at times and not for long he would stop at the rail looking down to the street below . I noticed him as i was standing across the street and at once thought i could make a photo including him cellular phone against his ear in his own urban environment , a high rise structure of cement planted among more ancient buildings right on elongated Trandafirilor Square , focus of open-air cafes and restaurants all set in delightfully old classy state of the art buildings , heroic statues and centuries old churches , the Culture Palace and City Hall also occupy a big chunk of one side of this attractive square , so not surprisingly i found his high rise building , his home awkwardly out of place here !
Iso 80 , f/5 1/80, it is one of those early evening shots when the light , thanks to cloudy skies , subsides too rapidly , i raised gamma by 4 points in PP , minor adjustments , corrected some distortion lightly , sharpened .

So is he looking at you, as you photograph him? It seems like it but I'm not sure of the distances involved. I have to say that the sharpness for such a slow shutter is excellent. Composition works beautifully here.

Great eye to spot the pacing man in his blue t-shirt against the field of drab colors of the walls and terraces. I like the way you have composed this, placing him near the lower left corner; nice graphic horizontal and vertical lines throughout. Well done.

Carol, this is really great .. my kind of shot! Very good eye to see this, and the way you've composed it couldn't be any better. Those dull colored walls, and the stains and cracks ... and your placement of the guy on the phone .. just great. The one balcony with flowers is a nice touch too.
Great job my friend. You are so observant, and make the best of these potential photo ops that most people would not even notice.

Hi Carol
A nice graphic shot broken up by both the flowers and the young man. The blue shirt was a perfect compliment to the yellows of the building.
