[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
From the small amount of information I can find (writen in German!) about this once beautiful stately home is that it was built between 1573 and 1593. Unfortunately Romania has an amazing amount of these former palaces and fortresses of many diffrent styles and dating from many diffrent periods that are today falling into dis-repair and suffering from both human and natural decay. This image was tone mapped using Photomatix software.

hi there, guys
unfortunately romania is inhabited by romanians... but this "spirit" (leave me so I let you go) is something you can see all over the balkan peninsula. the history is not important because it doesn't produce money (except for those famous dracula stories...)
fine picture here. take care at snakes (vipers) in such locations.
