You are right, it's a great difference between the pictures.
This one it's so cold...you used very well the light, i like the color of the snow, beautiful white.

Still a couple of leave hanging on for dear life - The scene has changed - this one is well captured with the moody sky amd the snow.

Am I noticing strage colors on the background trees?

Amazing difference from the last posting of this point of view.. nice capture of the first snow fall.. I like how you can see the glimmer of a few remaining golden leaves in the background. Nice composition and framing.
