Lovely colors, and great control on DOF!
I like the colorful roofs of the buildings and the architecture of the historical church makes it even more beautiful. The mountains in the BG bring dynamism to the picture.

Superba aceasta imagine panoramica a orasului vechi cu muntii Fagaras in fundal. Sibiul e un oras aparte. Din pacate arhitectura cladirilor noi nu este la inaltimea (ca valoare artistica) celor vechi.

dear Oana,
a wonderful shot of the special view in Sibiu.
old buildings and new buildings make interesting contrast in one shot.
and after all, you suggest that old stone houses are more beautiful and significant than new constructions, to my eyes.
lined stone houses and those roofs are excellent, and towers and domes too.
old tone of brown/orange colors are my favorite.

Sibiu would make a good second choice Oana, the view from the belfry is great indeed , i find myself spotting like the many buildings in your picture sporting the eye-ball style of windows popping out of their rooftops , a style particular to Sibiu, catchy and interesting ,
