Hi Constantinos,
Again a wonderful desaturated picture of something apparantly unintersting but with such a capture absolutely fabulous. The grey tones are very good shown even like the whole composition is excellent. Well done my friend and TFS!

Hey Costas, I think it does us good to move out of out comfort zone and post new types of pics. Even if we get less points!!

Your rusty tin here looks like it could be from NZ. Is sure shows us how true this phrase is: "Rust never sleeps!"

You get 2 smilie points from me today!!
Have a good weekend,
Janice

Hello this is excellent Constantinos - can I ask you where you find the function in photoshop (assuming that this is what you used) that restores the colour after you have converted to b/w
I like this series. Minimal composition but very nice textures and realization of the concept of selective desaturation.
s.

Another gritty and dirty subject matter, well presented in b&w with the partial colouration. I love the little detail of the two yellow dots (leaves?). Great presentation
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Technically great, it looks cute but no feeling.

Costas... Im sure I have seen this before... must have been in my dreams...LOL LOL...

Yes this is true to life photography, of your series this is the best I feel, very nicely composed.

The little yellow leaves look cute.. in fact they kinda look like little minature dutch clogs..lol.. dont you think... or am I seeing things..

Thanks for sharing my friend.

Take care
Hugs
Dawn.

Fine pp work Constantinos, this rusted piece of material and two little yellow bits made it interesting to view, rusty part could have had a bit extra saturation imo.. tfs

Of course it’s all about taste. I do like this one Constantinos. We can see and feel de dirt this in one. The combination with the rusty can makes it a saying photo with a lot of photographic details. Is this the first one where you use Alien Skin soft ware?
There are a lot of good and proved ways in PS CS2 to convert.

The rusty tin almost looks like an autumn leaf.
Great effect!

very well seen, maybe the squear format doesn't fits very well with the subject... and when I look here, I found 2 pictures: one in the upper part, and one in the down. 2 different storys, one of the loneliness and abandon, and one of friendship:) that's why I think it was hard for you to cut:)

well done!

HowDEEE from Texas! I've enjoyed the different pics here, but I must say, you are TOO GOOD with color, to abandon it for this wishy-washy style! HAHA! I love your color pics!

Hi Constantinos,
Very good treatment! The desaturation enhances the texture of muddy sands. Efficient composition with the rusted bucket. Interesting image! Bravo! Annie

What can I add that has not already been said ? Creative work and a nice little series, Κώστα... but as you said in the note, enough is enough ;o).
Nice textures though; the sad remnants of an oil drum...

Hi Constantinos,

Hi Constantinos,
It gives a strange feeling seeing this piece of crap laying on the beach!

great artistic effect here. Lovely composition and nice effort with the PP.
Well done and have a great weekend.
Best regards, Daniel

Hi Constantinos

I have a stuped question :
What do you mean by DEE saturated ? And how you did it ?

TFS

Hi Constantinos,
Great image, excellent composition!
The "Dee Saturated" series is a great idea.
Good detail in this one, it makes you think, looks like a toxic waste
dump with the desaturated sand and water.
Well done!
Thanks,
b.
