I must confess you this is one of my favorits. Even it has nothing special: it isn't an artistic, well-composed, beautifully lightned shot. But it is very special for me and I cannot understand why:)
I was wondering in the Village Museum of Bran (near the famous Bran Castle of "Dracula") and I was taking pictures of old beautiful houses, when, in a rustic interior in the musum, I just found, almost by mistake, those little new-born puppies. the scene was so sweet... they were all alone in this museum old house, maybe thier mother was searching for food... and they were so little and knowing nothing of this world, knowing nothing abot this museum were they were born, knowing nothing about their neighbour, the famous Bran Castle... they were just ALIVE. pure and simple. no culture, no education. 1 day old.

sorry for cannot expressing my feelings, I just want to understand why I love this one so much:)

thanks for visiting!:))))))))

Hey Anca,

Maybe not artistic or well composed, but it certainly is beautifully lightned!
It's pretty difficult to have enough light inside and have a good image of the outside!!
Normally you would have either a dark indoors or too much light outdoors (you can see that a little bit on the gravelpath!
The puppies are sooo very lovely!
So... no matter what you think, I think you did a fine job!

Cheers,
Anneke

love the light and what an interesting little story, I understand... thanx, M, (*_*)

Hi Anca, I totally understand what you're saying, but I can see why you like this photo! There is beautiful details in both the shadow, and highlight areas. The light, the sleeping puppies, the use of the door to frame the image outside, the story, all excellent! It IS special! :-)

Hi Anca.
You always show us that simplicity is wonderful.
The whole composition is based on the door the inner side of frame shoeing the out side and the outer side of the frame showing us inside of the room.
Light is perfect.
Thanks for showing us this simple shot.
