Hi Everyone!

As mentioned in my previous posts, Bucharest has a very large park & lake called Herastrau with lots to see, do and of course, photograph!

Upon entering the "main entrance", we are greeted by these statues to our left and to our right which, I immediately saw a photo opportunity! What's interesting is that even though the statues look similar, if you look closely, they alternate where they have their arms placed.

Enjoy!

Hi Constantinos

Good use of diminishing linear perspective & repetition with excellent sharpness & pov. Tfs!

Superb, these Karyatids... I thought they were only in Greece, Constantinos?
You photographed them very well, with perfect dof and a strong comp, lovely and thanx, M, (*_*)

they look like old Greek statues.

Hi Costas, your other photo's are very intresting but here I keep clean feet (no mud)The compo is taken under a fantastic angle (pov)and I asume these statues are old? The tooth of time did not bite them , they all look sound. Realy nice to see this, take care
Rob

The POV and and composition are excellent. Important in this type of photo is the perspective and DOF and I think you handled both very well.

Hello Constantinos,
Great DOF -- the lighting is excellent as well. Nicely done and TFS Julie

It is either too early in the morning or I am too old, I had to look twice. Well done Constantinos. Nicely composed to take advantage of the light. Lovely textures in the statues and that filter certainly does the trick. Nicely presented and TFS,
Dave

Hi Constantinos !

You know, these statues are a recent adition to that entrance and I'm not really in love with them but your POV and compo make them look great.

Hi Constantinos,
Great repetition effect, but I notice only every second one is alike!
Good perspective in the composition, still with good summer colours...
Greetings,

Yes, I see the different hand positions. And the other parts of the statues all look the same. Well composed, this is a good angle to photograph them from. TFS

Hello Constantinos.
Lovely repetition of the statues in a vertical format. Lighting is particularly sweet, the inclusion of green foliage neutralizes the scene. Very well presented my friend. Danilo

Hi Costantinos.
Good composition and wonderful use of the perspective in your shot!

Lovely composition - the POV you've used leads the eye through the picture and the smooth colours and good level of detail make this a pleasing picture to look at - very restful.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Constantinos,
This is a very amazing POV and composition. I enjoyed seeing all those different positions, at first sight, it doesn't appears like this. It remains me a bit of an other picture from you, "The green jugs"... Nice exposure and details, well done! Thanks,
Claudine

Indeed they do, Κώστα. They make me think of the well-known Cariatydes on the Parthenon. Excellent colour saturation and well presented too, though the image appears to be somewhat tilted (or am I just plain tired ?)...
TFS

Very good composition and perspective. Clear, and sharp. :) Vadnana
