for understanding better this image, maybe I shouldn't cropped it... I shoulded let this woman surrownded by other people which was waiting to came at St. Mina Church. but there were too manny elements which was disturbing. but this old lady was definitely different from the others believers. her attidute, her devotion, her patiance was distinctive. in front of her, someone had a small boutique with icons, and this is the explanation of the icon with Christ you see here. maybe the significance is pushed too much... however, even it isn't a very sharp photo, me, who was there and I know the context, I love this one...

Figura batranei si floarea din spate erau suficiente.

Splendida imagine. Expresia fetei,mana cu floarea din dreapta si icoana dau o compozitie exceptionala.Pacat de fâsul din spate...dar nu ne putem intotdeauna compune cadrul asa cum am dori...oricum nu micsoreaza cu nimic valoarea pozei. Si nota e bine scrisa.Bravo !

Mai, draga, iar ma impresionezi ! Batranica ta e excelenta, compozitie inteligenta, dar, mai presus de orice, impresionanta, percutanta... Ce mai incolo, nu te poate lasa indiferent. E chiar vorba de imaginea care spune mai mult decat o mie de cuvinte. Foarte bine !

You captured her bitterness and sadness very clearly (at least it seems that way to me in this photo). I actually like the flower and hand holding it behind her, it is, imo, very well placed and somewhat symbolic. Anyway, great catch!

Impresionanta imagine... figura batranei e extraordinara, exprima atata chin, tarie, credinta.. frumos.
Imi plac si crizantema surprinsa in spate si icoana.
Alb-negru e alegerea ideala pentru ce ai vrut sa exprimi.

WOAH, ANCA, A high potential shot indeed, Black and white, Fantastic contrast, good lighting and nice subject.

I prefer more PP works to clone out all things behind woman, IT WILL BE A GREAT SHOT, But yet it is a very great shot.
