Well taken, I like 3D effect but there are some distracting sides which don't belong of the rose.

What detail you have of the center of the rose, I have also dried roses but have never thought to take a photo of them. You have done such a good job of drying it that you were able to keep the beauty of the rose in life. You have such clarity of some of the petals with such good detail, but just of the center. I wish you would have shot it from a little more distance so that the whole flower would have had the same clarity. I think if you used a larger f/stop you would have achieved this. TFS

Hi Laura,
Although the DOF is shallow, It shows sharp detail in the center. The flash exposure brought out great color and very nice textures. A nice macro shot!

Interesanta compozitie, culori si textura. Desi ofilit, trandafirul nu si-a pierdut expresivitatea. Interesanta idea de a-l fotografia.
