[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the most visited park in the city, called Saint Sava. He was the prince, son of the Serbian ruler and founder of the Serbian medieval state Stefan Nemanja, and brother of Stefan Prvovenčani, first Serbian king. He changed his name Rastko when he became the monk, taking name Sava. He is the first Archbishop of Serbia (1219-1233), the most important saint in the Serbian Orthodox Church and important cultural and political worker of that time.
Near the park is the elementary school called by his name...
In the middle of the park, and near photographed place, is Church of St.Constantin the Great and Helen... Constantin the Great is very important person for Nis, 'cause before he established Constantinopol, he has the residency in Nis.
This was the rare moment when this benches are empty... Usually, this is the place for playing chess.
Also, by the park are the tennis courts, 'cause thanks to Novak Djokovic, Ana Ivanovic, Jelena Jankovic, Janko Tipsarevic and Zimonjic, tennis is sooo popular in Serbia...
This popular place is also place of concerts in the summer...
