The Little Prince! One of my favorites, and what a wonderful passage you've used to illustrate this scene, or maybe it's vice versa. This is the kind of posting that I love best - where two art forms come together to create a perfect moment.

The language in this passage touches my heart, Marija, and your photo is so beautiful. Poor little prince. So puzzled, so lonely. Trying to find his way. Missing his flower.

A sweet tribute to your friend, Marija. Friends from years past are so precious. They know things about us that others never even consider.

Wonderful photo Marija I like the the dark contrast and the silhouette on the rock of your friend Sladjana.
Also your note is a very nice/strong one and so true and 32 isn't old and cranky...you are a young and strong woman in the beginning of life ;-)

Taken out of context, which I did before reading your poetic and heartfelt note, I just looked at the image, 'untainted' as it were by any outside influence.
My first impression was of a moment of triumph or success by a climber, who had reached his peak - in both senses. The figure seems to be dressed for the job? Lovely sky and an effective silhouette in a classic composition arrangement.
Odd frame ... only the top can be seen. What's the raison d'etre for this style? Any? At least it's black ;)
Then I read the note - Oh, OK. Fair enough but no jokes in there, no car chases and no explosions ;)

Well you certainly learned your lesson Marija. Putting in image Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s petit prince is very audacious and you did it so well. Fantastic photo Marija.

Excellent shot Mareee!!! Really a great moody shot but with an excellent note, true gratitude to friendship. Sladjana must be very happy to have you as a friend.
I like the composition here and the mood. That cyan was great choice, congratulations!
But the most amazing thing is that I have a very similar silhouette shot on my stack and you've really pushed me to post it, but I can't compete with your great note. I'll see when to post it ;)

Strong and moody, both in 'heavy' sense [thick dark clouds] and optimistic [light coming from the corner]. Looks like she is standing on top of the walls of some old fortress. Nice framing. Great work.

What a nice tribute to Sladjana's friendship. Superb photo and text . Soft image. A simple silhouette and a nice covered sky illutrate well the beautiful text from Saint-Exupéry.

i just found this shot, among many of your greats, well i've decided to let my opinion be known. this shot like most of your photographs is superb, the addition from the little prince!

the sillhouttes, the dark ominous clouds here really help to create an awesome composition!
